It was shameful that APBTs were restricted over there. At least you have a lot of SBTs to choose from.

    yes and no
gamedogs should live underground . if that is the case. 98% of the wanne bees don't own them.
and in the end it means les problems
because when there are no problem nobody give's a (f)

last time when in london saw dozin's of gamedog look a like's in the park's noproblem lol
if you really want you can have a gamedog in the uk ...
there are more places where they are forbidden .

the qeustion is how much you want to own them
knew people they got rit of them when the ban came in and start to talk about them again
    when the ban goes of
and knew people who did not get rit of them lol and survived with them

No one can blame you for walking away , too much rejection, no love injection, life can't be easy , its not always swell, dont tell me truth hurts little girl cause it hurts like hell. But down in the underground you might find someone true, down in the underground a land serene a crystal moon, its only forever not long at all, lost and lonely thats underground THE UNDERGROUND. I think banning them in UK ...made them more popular.... they are everywhere...any city or big town ..you will see lots on the streets.... in countrys where they are not banned ...you don't see as many...

Having lived in an BSL city(Miami) for over 30yrs I understand your frustration. In BSL towns a dog of 50% ANY type of bulldog could be taken away by Animal Control in which IF you are able to persuade them that said dog will be removed from town and nearly $500.00 you might get your dog back. Finally moved from there and can enjoy this breed again with no worries of neighbors calling the heavies(A.C.) for no damn reason other than to fuck with me. I waited just over 15yrs to get this breed again and it was well worth the wait.

Yes I see the odd one in the park but there not purebred and 305 I understand I'll just have to wait and try and earn some trust id like one of these blodlines a Bordeaux or Mayfield or a hammonds and for history reasons a Colby

RickyB is definitely right banning them has made them more popular. All the ban does is make them more desirable to the criminals, street thugs and gangsters. There are a lot of APBT and SBT but the majority of what you see out in the open are not game bred. They have watered down the bloodlines a lot just to preserve the dogs also many APBT are crossed mostly with SBT and mastiffs like the French mastiff to make bandogs. Major cities are hot spots for these dogs. Still it is not too hard to get a game bred APBT imported into the UK (or so I've heard).

Why not go with a SBT? Probably the actual breed i.e. APBT or SBT doesn't matter as much as who you get it from. If someone has bred a SBT for function for enough generations its body type won't look that different to an APBT. Advantage is its legal to own a SBT. Disadvantage is you can't brag to the wrong people about owning a gamebred APBT. So owning a SBT could be a win win situation if you take the time to find the right breeder.

That is true. If you do have an APBT though and half a brain you just call it a SBT or a Staffy cross and try to be discreet when you take the dog out in public.

  17. There is alot of game apbt in England, yacuza and chinaman dogs.

It doesn't matter what you call it apbt or sbt if the RSPCA come a calling your f**ked without kc papers I've even had them down because I have dogs on chains. Best just keep them out of everyone's eye if you can't be seen you stand a better chance.

RSPCA will not knowingly get involved with banned breeds only the police will do that. The RSPCA will only get involved with animal cruelty issues, usually via tip off.

I know someone with a French mastiff who has been stopped twice by the police and ordered to show papers to prove it's not a pit bull. There are so many staff crosses that the police wouldn't know one if they saw one. In a lot of cases you can pass a good dog off as a bull lurcher of sorts or a boxerdor or staffy cross, whatever you want. You'd be more likely to get stopped for having an American Bully.
