I bought a pup thinking she was a staffordshire bull terrier but ended up looking alot like a pit i did post this around a year ago when she was very little you coudnt tell but now as shes grown is more obvious of what she is im not saying shes an apbt because with no pedigree theres no way to tell but shes deffinatly not a "full pedigree staffy" as i was told
just thought it would be interesting to show.

I agree with you although I'm far from a SBT expert. What is the black dog? His head is more of a SBT IMO. The only SBT I've seen in person was full grown so I'd assume that as puppies, they'd look similar to a APBT. She's a pretty girl! She reminds me of a past dog of mine. Both dogs look good!

That chokolate dog is definately no SBT. Looks like a APBT or some Pitbull mix. Good looking though.
How different is the energy level/temperament of these two?

Shes miles more energetic and much fitter and faster ! she fits the height and weigh measurements for an apbt and looks the twin of quite alot i see on pictures aswell im pretty sure she is one tbh but you cant say without a pedigree of course

  8. Nice looking dog there. Best of luck with her.

To me thats a pit , She still gonna fill out more. Your male looks like a laid back dog calm .
Shes a whack job but those type are nice also lots of life in them.
I hope she is nice to your male and never tries to harm him.
That male is a nice dog who should never have to feel unconvertible with his mate.

Your female has the look like my female , A bit hyper , barks plenty , crazy eyes , intends to be the boss.
I say this with no disrespect .

I personally can't see a 'mix' in her appearance. As for not having a pedigree well who's to say that having one is a 100% guarantee lol...the dog will reveal itself regardless...btw both dogs look well cared for and are pleasing on the eye.

Staffies has a very distinct look to them. I have a few co workers that have them. I actually ran into an owner at a pet smart and told him nice staffy.
He was blown away I new the difference. I introduced him to a few staffy owners and they have a club now lol. Good people.

Im guessing your from the us ? Dont most people call sbt's am staffs and apbt's "pitbulls" over there ? even though they are different breeds

AmStaff is short for American Staffordshire Terrier, which is the name the AKC gave to "pitbulls" when they decided to register them. They also register SBTs, so two different breeds.

That red dog looks like she's either afraid of, or really, really, hates the camera. lol

Even thou you meant to have 2 SBT I think as luck would have it ,
you have two versions to talk to people about.
Given the opportunity of how long a dog lives .
Plenty of people you meet on the street will have a chance to
see some differences of a SBT & APBT .
    -------------
She is easily the phenotype of the breed , In time as you have her longer, I bet around 3 to 4 years of age
she is gonna have a look, a way of acting , & it's going to hit you ,
    Umm I have a APBT
Their lucky dogs to have you as there owner
