It's a cold one today

    It's -14 today here in Ohio and with the wind chill suppose to be around -30. I stuffed their houses with straw last night and made them some venison stew to pour over their kibble. Hopefully it warms up quick like by tomorrow. Has anybody else had to deal with weather this cold and what precautions did you take to make sure the dogs made it through it alright?

    I put their houses on cinder blocks and use straw as bedding. In the winter months, I also put water in their feed to ensure hydration. It's -30 here today as well with the wind. Brought the youngsters inside. I'll crate them for at least 2 days.

    Its 18 degrees here in bmore.first time i can remember school being closed because of cold weather.damn dog shit is freezing in minutes i have to chisel turds lol
