Problems with neighborhood dogs?

So I sort of have a problem, well more than one actually that is a causing issues with my dog's daily walk.
    1. Some guy owns a GSD mix who is......rather aggressive. He runs loose most of the time because his owner lets him and his yard isn't fenced. The dog has charged at me while growling and showing his teeth a few times while I was walking my Pit Bull Charlie. Basically I have been chased by this dog and it's quite....hard to deal with.
    2. A guy who lives nearby has....quite a few dogs which wouldn't bother me but....the large pit mixes he owns jumps the very short (three feet high) fence and have almost gotten to my dog a couple times, the little tiny dog he owns crawls under the fencs easily and tries to chase my dog also. Charlie (my dog) is dog aggressive and he is always on a leash but I would hate for him to hurt one of these dogs.
I should add that talking to these people about their dogs is impossible they aren't exactly nice.
So what can I do? Thanks ahead of time!

I've been trying different routes but they basically roam the neighborhood. I'm considering driving to a different location with my dog and just walking there instead.

    That's a great idea! I can't believe I didn't think of that, thank you. :)

  7. Your dog isn't one of those Blue Rhino looking things is it?

kick the sob in the groin or in the jugular the next time or smack em with a parting stick a few times on the head also works.. or better yet call animal control to deal with it. I got a dude some houses down from me he has a husky mix and that dog always gets out. I have told him a number of times and although he agrees and apologetic nothing ever changed so I called AC once and now he is much more diligent because the next time they take him he won't get it back. you be doing yourself your neighbors and your dog a favor.

    Lol, no XD

  10. That makes a lot of sense. You own a pit bull and your going to call animal control on your neighbor. I guess that is what you should do, LOL.......

Yeah, I guess. I'm trying to be nice because in my neighborhood you have to be careful. And Animal Control around here.....they don't do anything.

  12. Don't call Animal Control ever. Remember, you own the Pit Bull...

    Why not fence the property?

I've dealt with Animal control before, not for my dog but one of my neighbors had a pit mix who got out. Trust me, I would never call them for anything. My yard is fenced though.

Get you some bear or pepper spray, after you blast em one good time they won't be so quick to run up on you.
