first of all tose are just colors the American Pit Bull Terrier is a breed rednose and blue nose are not a breed.the only other thing APBT go by is bloodlines but they are still the same breed just different known heritage.u should stick around and learn more about the breed.

There are only two breeds of 'pit bull' dogs: the American Staffordshire Terrier(AKC recognized, also known as AmStaff for short) and the American Pit Bull Terrier(ADBA and UKC recognized, also known as APBT for short). 'Red nose', 'blue nose', and 'brindle' are all just colors that these breeds come in. Any color is acceptable with the exception of merle. Stick around here and check out www.apbtconformation.com to learn more.

  5. just look for reputable breeders that breed red noses... they throw out brindles every now and then

  11. rocksteady

    rocksteady I'll drink to that..

And do not forget the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.. But with Am Staffs, Blue and Red nose is a fault.. they only allow for black nose and not a large precentage of white

Welcome to the site. I like your user name, from THE BIG LABOUSKI. Well to the point, I feed my dog RED BARN a lot of people in my kennel club do too.

i dont consider a american staff a pitbull...they have been bred to long for color and shape...the game is almost gone..they are more of what a first time pit owner should look for..next best thing to a gold fish

You're correct, I should have clarified. However, an AKC Staff and a UKC APBT could be bred and registered with the UKC, but an SBT/APBT or SBT/AST cross would be considered a mix breed. That is why I omitted the Staffordshire Bull Terrier from my post.

There are blue and red nose AKC CH though, also white ones. It's a fault in the show ring, but not a disqualification as it is naturally occuring in the breed.

No such bloodline as "red nose", it's really just a nose coloration. There is a strain of dogs known as Old Family Red Nose, but as far as I know there isn't any pure OFRN blood left around.

Do you have a pedigree? Perhaps you could share it and get some input.

There is no way to tell how the dog is bred without honest papers.

so theres no wat from him to get papers now

  20. basically no, if u have no idea what bloodlines your dog has and therefore dont know the pedigree, u cant get papers for him
