needle gauge for penicillin

    I have always used 22ga needles but i bought some penicillin today annd it would barely go through the needle. I was curious if some penicillin is thicker than others? What size needles does anyone else use?

    20 is better... its hard to push pen through a 22 n if u dont have lure locks your needle will pop right off ur syringe. Sometimes 18s tear too big of a hole... try a 20 or a 21.

    I would use a 20 also and make sure you shake up the bottle before use.

    And hell yes, shake that stuff. I also usually pump about 3cc of air into the bottle before I draw.
