i see that some good breeders who work with eli dogs use to adding 1/4 of bolio or redboy for refresh,

What do you guys in your experiencie think works better? just bolio? some good redboy? Mayday? Buck?

i would like to know what do you think about ..

In my experience with the line I believe if you get it from the right place and blend the families it stands on its own just fine . The secret is you have to be patient and let their bones harden ! With that being said I wouldn't use and don't use neither , when your stock gets too tight jus get you a good Carver dog to cross in my preference would be some Boomerang , Banjo or Rascal from a working kennel with knowledge and history with the line !

I like a three- way cross myself I use red boy/jeep dogs with my Eli blood. It has worked out great for me so far but I have thought of finding some good bolio blood to mix in with the Eli just because of the high percentage of good dogs I have seen coming out of this cross. It basically boils down to what works best for you as a owner. I like high drive fast moving dogs with a little bite to them. This works for me in my keeps so I have stuck with the rb/jeep/Eli cross
