Amen lol I wouldn't focus on becoming a legend what good is being remembered when all the work and history you created has been collected and euthanized by the HSUS? You can't get back those dogs once they are gone so your entire life's work has basically been destroyed and for what? Fame? and recognition? We are living in different times if you want to be known or remembered for anything that is illegal you better move outside the USA and get off the computer...

Welcome to the forum. I can understand wanting to breed and produce great dogs on one hand ,but on the other it comes with risks. To be truly a famous breeder of good dogs and not just a peddler there's things that must be done that is illegal in this country and will land you in jail if you truly do it on a public stage and are in the spotlight. I myself have never been interested in my name living on if it meant that I couldn't. I don't mind if no one knows who I am,lol But with that said, welcome to Game Dog. :-)

LOL, only in the US!!!!!!!! looks like u need to relocate to your nearest country where the law doesnt have a hard on for dogmen or breeders. MX seems like a good option right about now if you can weather the storm down south.

Welcome to game-dog and good luck in you dream.
Your getting into it at the worse possible time. Like what was said before, legends end up in jail.

    However,

Most everything in life worth wild has risk...... ;)
Good luck and who know's, maybe you'll be the next STP, or your wind up like patricks, Floyd B, Tant or a long list of others.

Let me give you some advice, you can take it or leave it young grasshopper,
Loose lips sink ships and your already starting to sink with posting this comment:
" i want to become a producer of high quality game dogs"

Picking up what I'm putting down?
Intent is 9/10ths of the law, Intent laws are a bitch these days and you've already openly and on a public forum, commited a premeditated felony bro......
Keep that in mind fella. ;)

Welcome! To sum everything up....I understand where you're coming from. The 1st thing is to know the breed, which you'll become even more familiar with as you spend more time on here. 2nd would be to understand that you'll be affiliating yourself with a highly criticized breed. The scrutiny that this breed has been under is at an all time high. Even though you aspirations seem to be very astute, most people in society will not understand your goals. So, the best thing to do is keep your intentions/aspirations of the breed to yourself. You will slowly find people whom you can talk very freely with on certain matters involving the dogs. Enjoy, love & reward your dogs, but also be true to them. I don't know how new you are to the breed, but patience, time, virtue are everything that's needed to be great with these dogs. I believe that it's best to take a general approach, when using forums/boards....or any means of public communication. I wish you much luck in everything that you wish to accomplish.

Best shit I read all day. If you want to breed proper game dogs your going to have to get in the box. Hog bird and coon dogs do not equal game dogs. Those dogs have different traits. Lets take the hog dog what good would a game dog be if it was trying to get at your other dogs during a hunt. Your hog gets away and you could end up with dead or injured dogs.

    Google that ish!!!!!!!!!!

welcome!! before you start your plans and dreams... read as much as possible on this site. listen to what people say and find out what you are getting in to... sounds like you still need a lot reading... it also sounds like you may be wanting to run before you walk... learn first before even touching a dog...

for example, find out what game is and then find out how game dogs are bred...

    dont buy anything yet...
