8 week old Malinois Working ..

I stumbled across this video on youtube and thought it was funny to see a bunch of pups going to town on this guy lol.. Smart little pups lol

worked one in the sandbox a few years ago. Machine was a maniac dual purpose bomb dog.

 

I am really starting to have an appreciation for the malinois .. To see those pups that young getting on the guy like that was funny LOL

 

I believe they make terrible pets, you really need to be on top at all times with them. I will defiantly have this breed around when I hit retirement age lol.

 

I know a couple guys that like the Malinois, If i was going to get a guard dog,i would seriously consider this breed.German Shepherds are bred so much for pets anymore that finding a truly good one might be harder than finding a good Malinois.But I'm not really into guard dogs so probably a non issue for me,lol. But the pups were pretty cool to watch.

Yeah Malinois seem to be balls to the walls hard core working animals very impressive ... They look like a lot of dog that's for sure.

 

Yeah,i was just telling my brother he should get one for his garage,just had a potential thief try to rip his meter loop off the electric pole the other day,lol One guy I know says they tend to be less watered down than the German Shepherds as a rule.

i think the bulldog is the only dog the US hasnt quite fucked up yet! lol and in a way.....we did that too! lol

 

If i were to get a guardian breed/guard dog it
Would be a rottweiler ! And i know exactly who
I would go to for a pup the man has the right
Credentials and breeds working dogs for guard
Work !

They're going to be hard to get in a few years so if you want one get it ASAP! They've steadily started growing in popularity past couple years as "pets" and they've already got the "empty shell" ones available. The GSD was ruined, the Rott was ruined, the Doberman was ruined, and now the BM will join them, damn shame.

 

Yeah man. Can't go wrong with a malinois. They seem to be faster and more intense than GSD. I would imprt one as well if I were to get one. Preferably from the Czech Republic.

 

they are bred to work and tend to be more intense and high strung. Not really for pet homes. I have a friend who has a few and they basically bounce of the walls and bark incessantly when not working or tired from working.... sort of like some bulldogs but they are definitely hard dogs when bred right..... not for first time dog owners as some get nippy when excited and most times they are always excited

 

I have several nasty old wounds from overly excited work dogs. I definatly wont recomend
For a home with kids, or layed back non alfa people. You have to be on point with these
Dogs.

 

seconding this. and its a damn good thing that they make terrible pets, they are working dogs and should remain that way IMO, not be some show dog bullshit bred for appearance
too many people see this fuckin navy seal team osama bullshit adn suddenly want a malinois not knowing what theyre getting into in regards to drive and temperament
