I'm wondering if it's a continuation of the original SDJ, or what. Any opinions or does anyone know anything about them?

First time Seeing this , Looks like its pretty much copy and pasted from old magazines looking at the preview . But why come out with a magazine thats has the same name as a mag thats already out ? it will be confusing to readers . We'll see where this goes But I would Change the name

I've been following the website and checking the updates of the preview mag, and for right now I agree. It's basically all copied and pasted from the International SDJ, and from other articles on the net, and from the previous mag. I've emailed the editors and they promised up to date and 'exclusive' interviews and newer dog features. I also agree with Mextra in confusing the name, but because of the 'American' in the name and from what I can gather from preview samples and corresponding with them is that their emphasis is stuff happening here in the USA, with show news and dog features of more recent times. To me it seems like a very risky undertaking, but they always point out and emphasize that all the show news, stories, features, and interviews are ficticious and meant for entertainment purposes only. Nonetheless, I know a handful of credible dogmen who have jumped aboard and subscribed already, so I'll be looking through their copies and will report back. I do support a US based magazine though and think it would benefit the game, knowing how and what lines are competing and producting, even if the information is ficticious and more like Professional Wrestling. As long as I'm entertained by a good read and helpful information in terms of diet and exercise I wish them the best. I'm no law expert but I'd be scared to death. I'm scared enough and feel I get enough scrutiny just by owning a couple of dogs and having mills. I'm one of those paranoid owners that mainly walks my dogs at night because of this, lol.

Their website says cash/money order with no mention of credit card or paypal, which seems kinda old school to me, lol. But you should email them Mike.

The one done overseas is GREAT, with lots of new stories and great tips.

the one being done in US is not as good in my opinion, and is basically copy and paste material and no new stories.

It's also bringing heat on people who don't want it.

  10. thanks for the tip sir

From my understanding, this is totally separate.....there is no affiliation with the original SDJ.
