I just saw the electoral map and just think back to how some of the media outlets across the US made it out to be more of a foto finish than actually was.

 

It's the media it's what they do they are all about drama and ratings.

 

another thing that caught my attention in ohio, florida, and virginia among others is how urban areas with significant votes for obama tipped the scales even if the majority of the map looked red but with less inhabited rural areas

That's the way every election in my state looks,usually with a majority of counties going one way and a couple bigger cities always votes totally opposite and sways the election.Same way on the national scale also. Guess that's life :-(
