The fleas came from Mom. Your pups are still to young even for mild soap. I would suggest tryin to pick them off with your hands and dropping them in a jar of alcohol. If you can, pull mom out real quick, give her a bath with some MILD dishsoap. Make sure ur rinse her and dry her very well.

man thats why you need to think about these things before you have pups. also why don't you get rid of the fleas and stick them above ground in a whelping pen. that wil make sure no fleas are around. if you would have done that a week or 2 agao and checked ur bitch for fleas now you wouldn't be askin for help would you. sry but it jus kinda pisses me off we got so many people not knowing what in the hell to do, but everyone of them breeding pups. selling them, thinking they gonna make a lil cash, or saying damn those to dogs are pretty lets breed em. thats just makes me smile

man there is nothing the vet can do to be honest with you. the pups are to young. put red cedar shavings in the area where the pups are. also get some lavender oil and put a few drops on the bedding area. not on the pups. the fleas will be gone if you do that. lavender oil is gonna cost u a lil bit but worth it. a lil secret not to many people knew about. but i hate to see a pup or animal suffer from its owners stupidity or lack of knowledge. anyway pick them off with ur hands as best u can or better yet tweezers so you don't hurt the newborns. then put down the ingredients as i said and they will be gone

I personly would not expose my Bitch and her day old litter, fom a trip to the vets office. Frontline offers a great flea & tick topical treatment.Pick the fleas of those pups. If I may suggest this, I would walk your bitch in a isolated part of your yard. If you are going to run the risks of having others handle your Bitch & pups make sure they wash their hands. Basicly, you need to treat your situation as if they were in qaurinteen (Isolation) lil bleach water goes along way.

    Regards.

    Critical thinking, what a concept.
