what other kind of drink could I give my pit?

    Good point. Same issue here. I switch to spring water when I can actually smell the chlorine, because I figure they can, too!

    Can't be good for any of us!

    Please... I used to drink pool water when i was a kid.... The dog will be fine.. Just look at me.

    You guys are a trip. Miles - pool water, the same water that the neighbor kids peed in, ewe. lol.

    I'd recommend the vet as mentioned earlier if the dog refuses to drink water. If you don't feel they are getting enough water, soak their food in it until the food swells up, at least this way they are getting some water.

  9. My house dog doesnt drink water out of a bowl unless she see's you pour it in there.She would rather drink out of the toilet bowl....yuck. I make sure i keep them clean and flushed....lol

    pedilite , is what the vet told me , helps with dehydration

    Mental Note: Do not go swimming if Miles is in the water.

    thanks guys. i guess i was a little nervous but the thing was she always drank the water and i was not there to see it. i got too nervous.. But yeah shes drinking and she eating. so thanks to all of you who replied.
