Including me, all these bickering among ourselves is not doing the sbt as a breed any good. Whatever your motive behind having these dogs should be towards the betterment of the breed or not? I think if we all hang our gloves and work together if we really love these dogs it would make a tremendous difference. Why can't we let our differences aside and forget who has the best line, best dog, etc... after all isn't all this we do for our dogs?

we argue so much about how in bad shape this breed is, but what are we doing to preserve the future of this working breed? what, breeding 1-2 good dogs and telling the world all they have is garbage?

even dogmen who matched their dogs in the past had their differences but they worked together and used each others dogs. With this i dont expect a perfect world but our egos, tantrums, and not constructive criticism and arguments are just giving all this tree huggers the satisfaction and their wanted goal: getting rid of the last working dog.

The breed has too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Everybody wants to be that know it all with that rare , truth, fact information about the old dogs. You should only be concerned with your dogs parents and grand parents at most. Who gives a ****** about the dogs 25 plus years back in general and in the pedigree. They are gone but not forgotten, no use bickering over them, how good or bad, it don't make yours any better!

been thinkin this a while i just couldnt have worded it as eloquently as that, im still wet behind the ears with regards to the breed compared to some people on this forum but the amount of knowledge on here is amazing, the only way to further the breed is to combine it all and do something about it!

Thank you for finaly saying it I'm sick of it an that's why I've. Not been here for a while .I know my last post in todays staffords was not exactly cordial, I'm. Tired of people slaging in general because they haven't seen a good staff at work. Some of us love this breed and are dedicated to its restoration and preservation.
