Well,I guess 'put down"was a bad choice of words.I meant wait till the dog matures,see what you think of it and then make a decision.Instead of like alot of people do when they get a well bred pup brag it up and think it's going to be the next great Gr Ch or the opposite end of the spectrum,listen to a bunch of people who don't know anything about the dog or the breeders and start saying it's off a cur,paper hung etc etc.What i meant by putting the dog down was merely being discouraged and giving up on the dog before it even has a chance to show whether he's a good or bad dog. No one here was present at the breeding of your dog as far as I know so no one here can really have an opinion of whether it's got a hung ped or not.I've got some good dogs and if I found out tomorrow they was bred differently than what they're supposed to be,I'd be pissed but a bulldog is a bulldog and if it has earned a chainspot it's going to keep it.Never listen to what everyone says,in the APBT world everybody's dog is a POS,cur,hung papers something.Every breeder is an asshole and peddler,everybody who takes their dogs to confirmation shows are feeding pretty papered curs,every ROM dog was just bred to damn much and a lab could've made ROM with that many pups,lol.Everyone hates Frisco and Chinaman wasn't game,but who the hell wanted to be across from him,lol.Every guy with a Garner dog is a T.G. dick rider and everyone on peds online is a "real dogman" when most are really just someone with a couple dogs and can barely pull themselves away from the computer long enough to know they have a dog. Sorry for the long rant but that's part of the truth of having a APBT, don't listen to anyone about your dog.You feed it,it's your dog.You should be the one to determine it's value and if there is ever a question about the true breeding of your pup don't get it unless you think you can trust the guy selling it to you,or you know for sure it's off of one hell of a bulldog. What I'm trying to say I guess,is regardless what you have or do with your dog,someone will always have something negative to say,don't pay it no attention and evaluate the dog yourself.

such beautilful a disscussion you cleared everything 32 said it nice as nice could be no disrespect to no dogmen but this breed has its share of nazis. all i want is a dog that proves game thats enough for me, being a martial artist i value this trait it is somthing we are born with thats why i admire gamedogs 2, 3 winners are great but nothing tops a dog,rooster or human with this gift.

 

unless you were there for the breeding and seen them come out the woumb its a dice game... just trust your dealing with honest dogmen or women.

 

i agree with some of the good replies,you dont know what u have yet in a pup as it matures you will no doubt find out...as for paper hanging it goes on a friend sent me a copy of a ped for 1of his and i knew it was wrong as soon as i looked it over its gr sire gr dam on 1 side were never mated and i knew that because the so called gr sire was my friends dog.....but the dog was not a bad 1 just had bad papers...it happens..

This sounded to me like you were saying other people got dogs from the kennel and were putting them down so now you are worried about the one you got? Did I read this wrong? That's where I got the putting the pup down from this post right here... I didn't say it he did LOL

To me it sounds like he is saying other people who have bought from this kennel have put their dogs down, reason not listed. But There have been a few good dogs from the kennel. So he is questioning rather or not his dog is any good.

 

That's exactly what I said he was the one who mentioned dogs being put down and second guessing the kennel because of others getting pups/dogs from them and have put them down. Than he proceeds to question wether he got a good one too? He says the kennel has put out good ones but then he's questioning his pup and it's pedigree and has stated others have gotten dogs from them and have put them down. It's too late to worry about wether or not the papers are legit or if the parents are what they should be. If you didn't see it with your own eyes and you don't have trust in the people you got the dog from then all you can do is wait on your pup to mature and judge the pup based on what you see for yourself.

 

No I didn't say he was going to put his pup down I was referring to the people who HE said got pups or dogs from the kennel and put them down. I simply made it known that if those people were putting down pups before waiting on them to fully mature they were retards. I didn't imply he was going to put down his pup I was responding to HIS post were he actually mentions others putting down dogs down from the same kennel he got his pup from. I am just saying to him don't go putting anything down just because someone else did or because someone else said they did. Let your own eyes be the judge people can say whatever they want to.

Americans have been sending their culls to Europe for so long under the guise of them being gamedogs or bred to produce that the time has come for them to send their culls back, lmao.

I knew guys who would have a litter of say 7 pups but add 2 bogus pups and say 9 pups total.
They would sell the papers to people who needed them, if your pup was the same gender and color of course.
Also I knew this lady who would breed her bitch to 2 different studs, but paper them under the better bloodline.
All kind of paper hangers in the APBT world, especially in the weight pull dogs.
I personally had a 108lb. rednose male ADBA/UKC purple ribbon (Bandog) suppose to be a APBT (yeah right).
Great dog excellent temperament, good weightpuller, great house dog (manstopper) never sold his pups as papered APBT's but did use him in my Bandog program for families that wanted very stable manstoppers.
