I remember watching Carl "The Truth" Williams vs. Larry Holmes in the 80's I think and IMO Holmes lost that damn title fight !!!!

Duran vs Davie Moore was a great one. THhe Roberto Duran Tommy Hearns fight was something as well.

larry holms was the best HW boxer in the world for his time as champ.no would of should of could of. between ali & tyson holms was king. the sports writers were right.

Real hard. Had Holmes hurt badly a few times. Shavers was no gym rat however and tired in the later rounds. Then Holmes went to work.

Shavers was a wrecking machine .He hit real hard. Duran vs. Iran Barkley was a good fight.Duran vs Estaban Dejesus (3 fights) the first man to beat the great Duran,but Duran won the next two.I met Hagler he was such a great guy,down to earth he trained like a beast.Holmes lost to Carl the truth Williams and Tim Witherspoon but Holmes got the decision.Salvador Sanchez vs.Danny Little Red Lopez where wars,those guys went at it.
