Has anyone used it or know anyone who has? What are the pros and cons for both puppies and grown dogs?

Used it long ago. Pro's; the surface is easy to clean, and hard to damage, you can chip frozen crap off it in the winter, nice cushion for dogs that jump. Cons; heavy, moisture gets under them, they get pretty nasty underneath in the summer, but it's a pisser to get under them to clean, and some dogs just regard them as giant kongs, pricey.

We use them for our kennel flooring. Cleaner than the concrete pavers we had underneath, and easier on joints for old dogs and crazy jumping dogs. Plus, saves nails for weight pull dogs. So they've definitely served their purpose for us. So far so good. I do hear that they can get kinda nasty underneath. Ours are laid on top of our pavers. And luckily, the puppy only viewed it as a big Kong for a couple days and left it alone when he couldn't really get a grip!

Anybody know where you can buy 4x8 mats?

They can definitely get hot if left in direct sunlight. I'd hope anyone who uses these mats would use precaution for this. We have our kennels in a location where the dogs get very good shade (plus our roofing offers this as well). They do get some sunlight throughout the day, depending on the time of day. But between the shade, roof and shade-screen that we use, they're never going to get super hot.

TSC sells then, plus you can find them online. We were lucky enough to find someone selling 17 mats (we only needed 12 to cover our concrete area for the kennels) on eBay, local. So for an awesome deal, we just picked up.
