It took 4-5 weeks for the vertibrea to heal enough to cause a problem with the spine, and the dog didn't end up 9 lbs underweight from eating good.

Well I have been reading this whole thread and have remained neutral about how the dogs got to looking the way they did and who did that to them I wanted to hear Buck's story. Buck I do not know you but the only person who has offered up any proof about the dogs living situation is NGK if someone accused me of doing something like this to their dogs I would have been trying to clear my name like a mother fucker posting any proof I had since this has been brought to a public message board where everyone who knows you and your kennel name is reading this. The mans dogs look like fucking shit his before pics of them didn't look that way. Do you have any pics you can post of them from your face book page or wherever showing the condition of those dogs on your yard? Threatening to whoop someone ass on game-dog is not going to clear your name. Those dogs do not look well at all and you are the one being accused of doing this. You don't have to say anything but since you did come here to defend yourself can you prove to us that those dogs didn't get the way while in your care? You said you had video and pics where are they ?

 

This story has become just that, a story-the only two that actually know the facts have now sunk to threats and name calling-it should have been resolved at the time and at the place-I dont give two shits who was or wasnt there if it was my dogs there would have been some explaining, or some swinging. Seems to me maybe both of you are in the wrong, and once again the dogs are paying the price for neglect, irresponsibility and maybe abuse. Now one idiot is posting private emails containing possibly incriminating stuff on a public forum, pretty shitty and a bit pussy. Yeah this thread is an embarrassment to our breed and the responsible owners out there fighting hard just to keep our dogs and promote them in a positive light .. And people wonder why the media and the average citizen thinks all pit bull owners are just trash ... SMH Our breed is in danger because of us not anyone else we need to stop doing these dogs like this. And be more responsible about who we put our dogs with this is not an attack on anyone here just reading this thread makes me think I am watching the 10 o'clock news.

 

Yep Bama the guys that grew up well or in the city where they can get to school. lol Dont relize its damn tuff if you dont have schoolin, The one thing i am proud of is my girls They Know from watching dad, work 14 ,16 hrs a day and walking dogs all night for people just to scratch by, They seen it so they did what I told them , They NEVER got a failing grade in school mostly the honer role, Some times i cant belive some one out of me can do so well in sitting in a class. lol But they are WAY more book smart than I could ever hope to be, But they also grew up having to kill ther own and see it Tuff some times so They get it.But The new gen is real neer sighted on this You must be a big dummy if you cant spell. LOL. I had a dog that would run his chain non-stop as well. In winter I would shorten his chain and double up on his feed and that solved that problem. Seems that if a dog chews on its crate it would be best to put that dog on a chain, probably may have saved the teeth. A fractured skull with no teeth marks to me spells a hard beating, just plain animal cruelty. How on earth do you bust a dogs backbone? Drop it? slam it? I've seen dogs do a lot of things to each other but never seen one break anothers back,, must have been a human I think.
I've taken care of other peoples dogs before and I never like to because they are my responsibility so I take better care of them than I do my own dogs. There are days when I am so tired I decide to pass on excersizing my dogs, but even on those days I still take out the dog that isn't mine because I said I would take care of it and one of the few things I can still be proud of in this life is my word.

I sure hope you don't have to put the bitch down, have patience these are a tough breed and vets aren't used to seeing other dogs come through things that these are able to.
