I would like some more information on the apbt breed.

im farely new to owning an apbt mix i have had her since october 5 2011 when she was 3 months old i believe she is an american bulldog/apbt mix. What are some information on both breeds that i need to know about.

 

Are you the one with the dalmatian cross?

 

she is an apbt/american bulldog mix not dalmation i called the previous owners of the father and asked

 

well not the previous but the owners before he died.

 

Stop being lazy. Use the search feature on this site, google, ask.com, buy books, go to the library, pray for the answer, or whatever. What you are asking is what you should have done LONG before getting that mutt. Not trying to bash you but this is rediculous. You got enough time to make 40 threads about your dog, his lineage, and probs you are having with your neighbors, you could have been spending that time researching the info you are currently asking for. Stop making so mmmm any threads about B.S. and read for a change.

 

i did reseach it but i didnt find out all that much.. my google doesnt work and the only info i get is on actual bloodlines or just on the colors and characteristics not really about the dog in general

 

Well for starters they are DA and since you just said in the other post you started you would put your dog down for displaying dog aggression than you picked the wrong breed to own. So please do us all a favor and get a beagle!

 

i didnt say i would put her down i knew when i got her they could show da. i just said if she attacked a dog loose or contained she will be put down due to my county's dangerous dog law.

 

and not all pit bulls are dog aggressive you shouldnt own one if you believe every single one will show dog aggression my dog isnt, my cousins isnt, my other cousins isnt i havent met but 3 dog aggressive pit bulls out of the 15 i have been around

17 and im being serious just because its a pit bull doesnt always mean it will be dog aggressive its like saying all people of 1 race kills people

LOL if it's a real APBT it should be DA you do realize that even a DA dog can still get along with other dogs? Some will not tolerate any and other's will pick and choose and even still you can't trust em. You are really naive and I see something really horrible is going to have to happen before you learn so sad

 

i said i know i cant trust them im just saying not all are most of them yea i agree that they are dog aggressive thats why i dont let her around other dogs without my supervision.

 

i take the necessary precautions to insure the safety of my dog and other dogs. Hopefully she wont ever show DA because the vet is always full with about 10 other people at a time

 

Then use a muzzle when you go to the vet.

 

you could wait outside with your dog until they are ready to see you .. a little common sense goes a long way.

what exactly r u trying to find out abt yr dog? its a mutt. what more u wanna know, he has no blood line, he looks like a dalmation and hes not a pit. where u live? come to L A and we will go test him on some nutria rat and see whats he got
