Nice pens, try burlap tarp on chainlink for the roof. Just get 6'
Tall cjainlink cut 10' strips for each pen, then ziptye the burlap tarp on top. Enough rain should get threw to wash urine away, might still need to limedust it and bleach every once and a while still tho

I like these! But I am kinna tall so I would have to make them a little taller but they look great for Arizona weather, we need shade the majority of the year if your keeping dogs outside so they look perfect for that.
Set up some cattle style fans and it would be prefect!

If your in a extremely hot area put half a barrel for a water/pool, they will have to be drained often so dont burry them, and keep pools/large waters out of puppy pens, i had one pup go head first in a 1/2 a 5gal. Waterer, i just happen to catch it in the corner of my eye got her out quick.

For the ground id like chain linklink also, aswell as on the roofthen place sand, pea stone or stone dust down, something that rakes crap easily,

Nice setup Crimsonghost, what the cost of the hogpaneling, they look at me all funny here like they never heard of it at the co-op, might have to talk to a metal supplier? I want 7 pens no spacin inbetween, zero visibility to next pen, hog panels prefered 12'x12' pen or 8'x16' would be easier due to hogpaneling i thinks 4'x8' isnt it?

The panels are 4' tall by 16' long.

4x16 is better, something like rallyracers set up but 8'wide x 16'long pens, 2'under ground to make pens 6'tall in the end. And cap the top.

If you have pine or cedar around cut some straight 8" logs @ 11-12' &, auger some holes and save on lumber, nail some 2"x6" boards top, bottom and middle of each wall..?

buck the two feet under ground thing i dont think that would be too good. maybe set it 2ft up on boards and have the shit fall through, but 2ft down and water drains in if your say in Washington state. in the midwest snow piles in there and rain. down south it would work and may keep the dog cool since underground is always cooler, but then again you they have to worry of rattle snakes(in certain areas) falling in and not being able to get out. i just think 2ft up would be better than 2ft down. i think crimsonghost's pens are real good and nice though. good job!

What gauge wire is the panels and have you ever had any dogs chew through it?

I don't know what gauge it is. It's about a quarter inch thick. I've only had a dog in it for about 3 weeks. If they chew out of it I'm gonna cull em. Cause they ain't gonna have any teeth left lmfao.

Moveables nice, gives them a fresh patch of dirt,
i like the the idea of putting up on a brood pen style deck 2' up, but you need cow mats under neath and to point them near a hill, for a preasure washer easy clean pens.

I have an old belt from a quarry conveyour, cut to 8' long under my above ground pen easy to wash the dropping out from under it with apreasure washer. I have my above ground pen on dragable sledrails, move with the truck or lawn tractor.

Snakes a big issue down there?

All we have here are garder snkes and watersnakes, milksnakes to, albertas got rattlers.

You guys have to wory about the poisonous ones tho, instead us canadians get porqupines, ive pulled about 50 quils this year so far with the coon dogs and friends dogs this past week. I conckuded retrievers are retarded, and spanials can be just as gritty as bulldog when they dont wanna be dequilled

I think the panels are 4 gauge. Like CG said a dog will ruin his teeth before hurting the panel.
