im new here and even i cant belive that post sorrells if you did your research has not produced for a long time in the pit and colby has not bein tested since 1976 if not longer you have to go back many gens to find a tested dog , chrenshaw yes are producing deeply game dogs from what ive heard and old gator ive never researched the line imo plays a very little part in modern day gameness as fighting dogs has bein banned imo the only way to get a game breed dog is either get a contact who tests his dogs in the pit or get someone who does hog hunting alot your not going to find a breeder by publishing it on a public foruim not one who has deeply game dogs anyway

im a newcomer to these dogs aswell but damn you guys are stupid.learn before you start spouting bullshit like that out

 

i was told crenshaw is the top line in europe and usa atm sorrels is the top line in newzeland but that it still wouldnt match some of the european dogs with america using mainly lines of bourdeuxs and crenshaw as ive said none of my posts are frist hand ive never owned the breed have a intrest in the breed for two or three years now but only started reasarching with contacts lately

Sorrel's are not doing the buisness anymore so are not as good as Crenshaw bred dog's.

You may not want a dog to fight but you'll want the best you can find and the best and most stable bulldogs are from working parent's, grand parents at worst you want tested. If your going to breed your own line or even if you just breed, you will have to school/test them or your dogs in a generation or two will be rubbish if you don't.

I mean Eire and UK when I say Isles.

You should be more selective about your sources and not open your mind to be a sponge for a bunch of bullshit. People can say anything doesn't mean it's true check your sources with reputable people before you go around spewing off bullshit as fact. If you have no expirence with any of those family of dogs mentioned maybe you shouldn't act like you do.

 

I do know what a game bred dog is so I don't need you to tell me what it is or isn't. I never once said in my post that the ones I listed below are "game bred". I stated that I am looking for breeders who breed real APBTs who look like the ones I listed. So, I never stated that they were "game bred."

 

Here is the standard answer that you are looking for when it comes to these hounds. Keep your mouth closed because when you open it, lame stuff comes out. Read the board. Section upon section. Follow the posters that post about stuff that they have experienced with there own eyes and hands.

Attend fun shows around your area. Go and ask questions of people that have dogs that you like. Caution, do this after reading for a while. Otherwise, you will be a pain in the ass and you will be shunned from there presence.

When all this is done, then you can ask questions about owning and breeding the APBT.

 

This has been an extremely entertaining, funny and eye-opening thread...people, myself included, must "know what they don't know" and for one thing we must know the "culture" of a forum before posting. The op had Bull in china closet syndrome.

if you look at all of my posts bare this one which was a case of forgetting to put in what i normally say at the end which is something like everyone has there own two pence to it and this is just what ive bein told /read you will see ive never stated anything which i say to be 100% true and its kinda hard to check ur sources when you have little contact with people who know the past of the dogs and it seems everypost i make here gets labelled with people wondering why i want to know this and that when im only 15 and the other and normally ending up with no answers and yes i know some of my post here are unbleavibly stupid but as ive seen one member say on a post everyone starts from somewhere or something along them lines and that person seems genuine im not saying i want the shit to stop because as ive learnt from this post the shit helps as if i post something stupid i get abousalety managled and i then find out where im gone wrong and learnt from that like i did with my sorrels post so im not saying stop the shit it helps id prefer to be told staright out though alright ur point about ___________________ ____________ ________ is bullshit so and so is still or whatver like i think the person to help me most on this site in comments is lakewood as hes just answered while giving shit and thats helpfull ....
