couple of questions

hi jw i now some people wont answer but its worth asking i just wanna find out who to ask questions to etc imo
1.how long have u bein involed in pitbulls
2.how long do u think someone should be involed in the breed before thinking of breeding um
3. favourite dog man of the past
4. would u be open to questions of someone who has a intrest in the breed and is reseachring etc but doesnt own one yet

Not a problem. Do like most people do when they have questions about different things. Look at the different category topics, etc, Health and Nutrition. Read the entire topic. Then go to the next one. The search option can be used but it can be difficult at times to pull up exactly what you want.

 

exactly like at the moment im going looking for articles, on bloods ,dogman,dogs etc which i can put on my computer and read whenever and have um handy instead of looking through every post trying to find a few helpfull post on dogmen and dogs which i myself like , as i still havent owned the breed and im not gonna own one till 2013 or 14 till i know 100% what blood i want which ive heard to be a good descion but idk everyones opnion is diffent

 

There's some good books and dvds that are good to have and would be easier than trying to read every thread on here. Not saying there isnt things to be learned on here. Its just not all together like in a book.

 

If u take the time to read through good post and bs post ul learn which is which in time. Gotta put in work. Cant be handed to you on a plate. U read and learn, then you can answer your own questions.

looked all over the place for books the only ones i could get are all modern day books trying to get one by starrton or colby but there costing over 100euro

I wouldn't ever recommend breeding, just leave it alone. Let someone else do it.

 

If you're going to have dogs The Pit Bull Bible, The Complete Gamedog, and some vet books would do you alot better than the others. The others are good reads but dont help you to take care of your dog.

 

never stated i wanted to be a breeder and even if thats what i was saying its not like im some 30 year old man trying to make big bucks as hes failed every single thing hes done in life and breeds dogs for a few bob imo but as ive said theres people on here who i belive to be some of the most knowledge people out there who i will have contact with in any form for a long while and im sure they"ll have there own two pence to it, btw in this post im not stateing ive my mind set on being a APBT breeder although ill admit its something ive looked at alot but i wont be touching down a litter untill i have atleast 10 years hand on expricene with the breed unless i have a dog which shows something i likes ( not meaning size or colour before anyone jumps down my throat ) and the dog is in age only then imo should i breed a litter unless i have over 10 years of exprience hands on and space etc and ten years is a rough estamite seeming im 15 it could be up to 12 years before i think im sutiable to ever work for the label of a proper apbt terrier breeder i know theres gonna be some people jump down my throat and abousaltey lose it at me , and i just want to run one point pass barabraclark
after reading many post on here ive seen some people who say they breed dogs and people on this snapping as they havent got the exprience or selling dogs to people wanting house pets so thats why i ran the question past ye

 

and thanks 6sn7s im getting it for the birthday would it be a better read then starrton etc and when i mean im new to the breed i mean new compared to most of the pitbull on here like my brother has two and i know people who have um

 

it depends on what you would like to read and what you would like to do with your dogs. maybe state that first... but there's plenty of topics about books already.

richard stratton im not good with spelling ,,, ill read anything which will help me improve my knowledge of the breed but ive to pick the book soon as its either that or a ipod and my mothers in july
