rosa you can but consistentsy is better.

vegtables and fruit help add to meals, you could add tripe as well

  2. just wanna ask..

when you feed tripe (ox tripe), do you feed it unwashed? i mean some says you just need to wash it by water.. they say you shouldnt feed the tripe that has been washed thoroughly cause it loses the nutrients.. they also say it should come somehow in green or gray color.. those tripe that is already white means it has been washed already..

Tripe is a mess. and yes if it is white you may as well not use it, the kind you need for a dog is raw nasty ass tripe. Good luck and give the puppys a big kiss on the mouth YUKKKK

if u insist on giving veggies try a tablespoon or 2 of V8 you can get organic juices like V8 from wholefoods type grocery stores that has no preservatives

  5. Yeah i agree it's really messy.. That's why i was thinking to give the white one the one already washed..

Raw feeding is still the best, even though it's messy sometimes..

when i feed fresh green tripe/ in fresh i mean it is straight from from the carcass to me in 2 days or less.
i will empty whats left in the gut then soak it in a bucket of salt water overnight. during the cooler months i hang it up in my coal house. but when it gets warmer i will cut it into portions and freeze it.

  7. Not everybody has a coal house Jacko. Damn you and your cool foreign things...wtf is a coal house? Lol

What a great post! I've been feeding "B.A.R.F." for the most part dry kibble in summer and as a filler in the winter but the dogs on raw food, greens, and grains... can't be beat. Valuable collective information indeed!

This might confuse you but what if you have frozen raw food?

I agree; I think the prey model method is the way to go: 80% meat, 10% bones and 10% organs (1/2 is liver)
