he seems to like that....how long is he normally on it ?

He loves it, currently doing intervals, descending first two at a maximum of 5 minutes each then maximum of 3 minutes for the next 4, 2 minutes for the next 3 then maximum of a minute until he shows disinterest.

That was his 10th of 15. ii only allow 5 -15 seconds rest between sprints. I'm trying to keep the intensity up maximum load and power output and test his recovery.

When I first got the mill I stripped him back in weight and he worked up to 40 minute straight but not at that pace of coarse.

Thanks for the comments, the biggest problem is when I'm sitting in front of the big unit in my wheelchair is that I get covered in slobber and drool. After half an hour I damn near need a life-jacket.

The big lad seems to enjoy that mate! Would love to get one but fear the dogs may not take to it preferring the hills!

 

If I had the choice I'd take the hills but since I lost my leg this allows me to keep my crew in suitable trim. And he does love it the big maniac.

Thanks Jacko that's his warm up before he goes into intervals, I quickly go over him for hot spots if everything is ok/normal he goes into 100% sprints 50-60 seconds with short recovery stops no more then 10 seconds often I have to make him stop by holding the mat. I have a few calls that I use to get him to run at the pace I want and not his own, but he's a good fella most of the time and does as I ask.
