...nothing wrong with giving people their privacy and staying out of peoples business either. Would you like people driving by your place to see what you have and what you are doing with it? That's part of the problem with today.. people get involved with things that are none of their business..so you drive by or walk by or pull a peeping tom on this guys yard and then what make a judgement call on whether the dogs are well kept or not? Say the dogs look leaner that what you are used to seeing..then what? Report them to the spca/humane society etc. Best advice is to Care for and worry about what you are feeding not what others do.
As for the clubs maybe they are used to keep out trespassers!

    Harsh.

Let me clear this up for those who haven't read all my posts.

I'm not going to do anything about it.

Oh and who's to say that I didn't drive by and maybe see something I'd like there? :)

Anyways.... moving on to look at new threads now... got all the info I needed. Once more, thanks again.

Well he said they were just chained on short chains to trees and didn't even have houses for them. But maybe they were just tied out for some reason unknown and were to be placed somewhere else later on... I don't know and I'm not going to find out.

Just next time your in the area just look adn see for yourself. You know how some people try to make things out that arent true so just see for your own eye's. But i would not call the cops or spca atleast the dogs will be alive instead of dead if you called spca ya know.

Yea well, whatever the case may be, it's not my place to care. But I'd never call anything in without knowing the cold hard facts first. That's something I'll say for damn sure I wouldn't do.

I'm heading out of the office... catch you guys tomorrow.

Maybe they are just babysitting for the ADBA Nationals or something lol. The dogs are located like 5 miles from where the nationals are to be held.

The people who have the best dogs I've seen treat them like dogs!!! The old way was to cull and keep, that means, kill and keep. If people would mind their own business and let people do what we have done for hundreds of years there wouldn't be a population problem as bad as there is now. Sure, we would still have back yard breeders, they are like flies, they're not going away and they are annoying, but, alot of people are afraid of the old culling and keeping method for fear of being turned in by someone to the ASPCA. :p I'd just leave it alone. Who knows what these hunters idea is of bad conditions. Real game dogs need to be tied up. :)

All it takes is one little misunderstanding, and good people can go to jail and healthy dogs be put to death. I fully agree with the "minding one's own business" philosophy. Every individual has their own ideas about what is inappropriate. Some people think chains are cruel. Some think a conditioned dog is "starving." To some, a 6 or 8-foot chain is short. We are all familiar with the varying ideas about tread mills, springpoles, and the like. No use ruining someone's life because their ideas differ from your own. However, if I see a dog being drug behind a car at 40 miles an hour, or someone beating the piss out of a pup because it won't fight, somebody is probably going to get a broken nose, to say the least.:( There are certain things that are just too obvious to ignore.

I agree. I did some thinking last night and came to the conclusion that Animal Cops on the Animal Planet has warped my mind. And I agree that having so many they should be tied up. My goal for the future is to start a rescue center, and with things like that in my head, I just tend to think about things too much I suppose.

Anyways, well I'm back at work and for some reason I actually have work to do. I'll get back with you guys/gals later!

  13. i agree with that jawbones.
