I remember hearing hearing about this years ago from an old friend that used to be in the area. Didnt think much of it at the time, thought it was just a rumor.

 

I'm curious about the dogs off red devil. I had one off pit islands thug that I didn't like at all. She was pretty and a sweet heart but other than that she didn't bring anything to the table but I have only had one dog. Not sure if that dogs is really off red devil but just curious what you did and didn't like about the dogs off red devil

 

@ ssracthin yes it was the truth, probably exaggerated a little but still the truth.

@ DPit with Tant you can never tell what you had, he had tooo many dogs to really keep up with the bottom side, so he registered as close to his remembrance, however my dislikes are shyness the ones common straight from him are very timid, slow to start is a another dislike. Overall ability is my biggest attraction!! The long faced that looks like Yellow tends to have heavy mouth!!! Those are the ones I look for......

Dogmen aint been straight shooters from way back when, lol. Buyer beware, how many folks buy a truck without a test drive.... More than you think.

Thug seems to have ignored all the controversy around his ped and produced quite well despite there being a doubt around his true parentage. Guess u cant keep a good dog down.

 

This is the same thing that I hear when people talk about their Yellow bred dogs. Seems the shyness and slow start gets worse the tighter the dogs are bred

 

Don't mistake shyness and slow start for a cur. you can work the shyness out and being patient is priceless

 

I have seen a lot of yellow bred dogs, some bred tight and some battle crossed. One thing for sure is that NONE of them were late starters, the vast majority were well rounded deep game dogs. The dogs I have seen weren't sons and daughters off of Red Devil. I have seen a Red Devil crossed male that was one of the best dogs I have ever seen, and no matter what is true in his pedigree, he was nothing short of amazing. I have seen a lot down from AAA and they were fantastic dogs.

 

Dogs are dogs don't matter if you spend big $ or not they all have the same odds of working out

 

People can say what they want about pik's thug,but the fact remains is he's an rom dog. And whether red devil is his true sire or not. David tant based his yard off 100% rbj dogs,thug was purchased directly from david tant, so who's willing to bet that pik "thug" is not a 100% rbj dog?

 

Lol.....A lot people knew of the red devil situation....so the man comes on this forum and admits to taking him and explains HIS SIDE of the story....so now we are to believe that just because tant based his yard off rbj dogs, a person who would ''allegedly'' sell falsely papered dogs and pups OFF A DOG THAT IS NO LONGER IN HIS POSESSION, continued to sell people straight rbj dogs because that is what was on his yard........interesting logic.......
