I have nothing but A+ things to say about Shame's collars. All the ones that I have are great and have held up perfectly. I'm interested in making a purchase and am thinking about his leads and would like some input from those who have Shane's leads. I currently am using leads that I bought from someone on another forum. Their products are good, but on one of my leads the hardware broke, which has me concerned and looking else where for stronger more reliable leads.
How good will the Sillwater leads hold up to a dog that pulls and hits the end of the lead?

I got a Stillwater lead and it's holding up good (snow, rain, bites).I got another lead from another place and the hardware started to rust pretty quick.

My dog will pull me on my mountain bike on his walking harness for close to two miles full force on the stillwater 12 ft lead and it has never ever shown any kind of wear. My dog is a monster puller on his harness, I got tendonitis from it but the lead is in perfect shape if that tells you anything lol

Dang David lol. Well I can relate because my one bitch pulls non stop, I had to get her a prong collar to help me out.
RRL- I know what you mean about the hardware rusting. The leads I have now are beginning to rust and I'm not crazy about that.
Texican and RRL thank you for your input, you too David. Hearing this makes me feel even more secure.

RRL- Yeah that first red one would probably hold up real well on a chain set up. Thats a great idea. Thanks for the link.

the only lead from stillwater that i've gotten the loop got smaller. cuz of the dog pulling and the clamp not being tight enough. i'm sure not all are like that though, he has great product. I love the lead though!!

i love his collars but the lead that i bought was crap. handle kept crimping because metal let the lead slip thought it. (sry for bad grammer......)

but i bet im just to lazy to tighten the metal

  11. Get the leather braided lead. You won't be disappointed! ;)

Thanks everyone for your input. BoogiemanBlood- I don't know if you were suggesting that I get a leather lead or not, but I do have one currently and I don't know, for some reason it hurts my hands when the dogs pull. One side is smooth while the other is raw. Thank you for your suggestion, all is appreciated!
