cardenas is very active and visible.....

Texas has some real killers. I like them oiler hounds but its a real quite team thats low key. Point is an active kennel quality test their stock ruthlessly but i still favour a chest animal purely cos its a big target with thin skin and alot of arteries.

Put a hole in that balloon and you can buy a new truck ....lol

If you are breeding with mentality then sir you are gonna get some fast paced barnstormering curs who in turn will likely throw not so fast worthless curs. Your line will fall apart as soon as your bitch is backed up. Let me ask you this if you are ignoring those average talented deep game dogs and not breesing them are you really breeding game dogs? We all know the answer to that. You want that average game dog to throw a few above average game dogs. With that being said I believe you breeding with that theory your doing the gamedog as a breed an injustice and atop that there is not a lack of others in the game with the same theory. To you all I say leave the breeding to those who know and save your local humane society and juvenile detention center both a cell and some feed.

x2 first and most important trait is gameness breeding with anything else besides that in mind first and foremost is backward steps... all other traits should come after not necessarily and after thought but priority must be given to the trait the breed is created on and epitomizes...jmho

A dog drive come from the rearend. So if u take that from him he cant do nothing but drag across the line for gamest n show. i ll take jeepxchina stifle dog over head dog anyday. u better off wit a mouth dog then a head dog.

i forget which journal its in but hb2 [s. harris] wrote an article on jocko, to not think he was THE BEST rearend dog would let me know you need more schoolin. his daddy hank was a terrible rearend dog, that trait was passed on thru the generations.

but jocko created a whole different animal, consistently.

termite, was a rearend dog, but he was a dick-dog. itwas amazing to watch him work, from the time he started you could just tell everything he did was figuring out the other dog. he would stay in the mouth until the other one just couldnt take it, then slide under and grab hold of that dick and go to SHAKIN. if he came in from behind he would snap the wish bone.

but, he wasnt the only one like that, termite probly threw 100 pups if not more and the larger percentage was stifle dogs.

THIS IS DEFINITELY, FOR FICTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!
    I MADE IT ALL UP!!!!!!!

I like a dog that hunts the stifle but not a dumb one has to be able to work other spots

  9. I'm still kind of a newbie but it seems a lot of dogs become head dogs from schooling its a defensive style they developed when they were first started with hard mouth dogs. And sometimes they don't forget it so they try to hold the other out or jump on his muzzle and try to take his mouth away

  10. Just my experiences!

That's the key to a good rear end dog frank they have to b able to work there way back there..

there is a difference between a head dog and a dog with good defenses. A good dog knows when to ride the head when the hog is driving and then switch to the spot he likes. Then there are some who dont care and go for their spot get there and stay there.

I'll always stick with the dog that does what it does better than the other dog does what it does. When a winner i declared, it matters not what style it used to get there.

yeah deadgame its something to see

and charles you may have seen dogs that just like that style but if you leave alitter of pups together long enough you will see that they all have a style they like some assend type some leg and shoulder and such

so when a dog go to schooling it already has an idea of what it might do but schooling is teaching how to defend against what the other dog may do
