    I agree about the smart dogs. That's why I love Nigerino. He would destroy the stifle but he worked where ever he had to work instead of just one spot. A smart dog is the best thing you can get.

    I understand the preference for smart dogs, I myself am a big fan of smart game dogs, but I dont think the OP was trying to insinuate that stifle dogs are better than any other style but merely wanted to hear about the stifle monsters out there.

    Im sorry Benthere 80% of the of the driving ore moving force of a ""game animal"" to be able to compeat are the stifels. Take away the stifels and your animal is in a world that heurts.
    The stifel dog is the most devestating stile there is especialy combined with choulder chest.also some stifel dogs have a ugly way of sometimes slipping to the gut!!! BOOM DONE FINSICHED...
    I do aprisiate a OFENDSIFE head dog but they are as rare as winning the lotery.No matter wat stile you like they are WORTHLESS without a stifel.. so go figure what you whant to take out first!!. and bij the way who sais a stifel dog isend game!!!!!!!..

    when i think of a "stifle dog" i see a dog that ONLY wants the stifle, one that will push and push wasting energy going for the one "killer" hold. an ace head dog can destroy one of these "stifle killers" in short order rendering the stifle dogs hard mouth useless. even a good all around game dog with above average mouth can swap it out with the "stifle killer" just by swapping back end holds and giving the stifle dog a taste of its own medicine. plus i agree with many old timers that saw most stifle dogs as curs afraid to engage the "business end" of the other dog. sure there have been many great dogs that could end it quickly in the rear end, but for every "great" stifle dog there have been many, many more that were just one trick wonders, stupid dogs that only took one hold leaving their whole body vulnerable for the other dog to take apart.
    i've never won the lottery but i've seen my share of offensive head dogs, they aren't rare but you have to know where to find them and how to breed them.

    75% of our animals have always been chest shoulder stifel dogs. They start at the chest shoulder and when the uportunaty is there they whent for the stifel. the mythologicel storys about stifel dogs beeing labeld as curs ore dogs that cant take the cutting ege of a frond end dog is rediculess to say the least. a stifel dog always takes punishmend on the head because EVERY dog ALWAYS gose to the place where it HEURTS!!!.

    As with bad head dogs there are bad stifel dogs!,,But the stijl hase NOTHING to do with it. Gameness hase EVERYTING to do with it, no matter what stijl a dog hase when he is game he wil try to ecsecute it...
    A dog that gose for the stifel from first release and keep chassing it is just as STATIC and a rezenable dumb animal. as a defendsif head dog!!.
    ther are diferend stifel dogs. as there are diferend head dogs.

    a SMART dog will ALWAYS notishe if he can go for the stifel imidiatly ore not!!!! , some of them KNOW there own strengt to wel and wil bore in there like no tomorrow. they ofthen barnstorm there uponend.
    Indian Bolio was a OFENDSIF head dog, a dog like that is hard to find and iven harder to beat .
    YET when he was bred douwn the line with the tombstobe x red baby and other blood and the ofendsif part left the blood and they became. what we refeard to in the past as ""runners!!"".
    They where selected one sighted on that kling on head stijl, that they LOST there ofendsif capabilety and became nose ore ear sukkers and in full retread.

    There soul focus was to tuck there frond legs away as far as posible and stretchs there necks to the max and hope to god the chest stifel dog couldend not get tru.
    these dogs are just as STATIC as a soul stifel dog..
    Nelis Rom got beat bij a ofendsif head dog a grand son of Bolio and GRCH Hank. called CH Sting!!! Nelis was not in great shape and yes paid the price dearly takeing ecstra ordinary punismend, beacuse you NEED to be in shape against a head dog, never the less he, showed deep/dead gameness
    . later His brother Drangon famely CH Ringo beat the crap out of sting takeing out the stifels eurly on . and i can tell you one thing that a"" Head dog"" wil ""quit"" a hell of a lot ""quiker"" when he cant inflicks his stijl and gets overrun compeard to a stifel dog who can play his game!!!..
    there is mutch more to it then these few words,but i have ALWAYS feld that it was the HEAD dog that was showing LESSER game due to his stijl..
