Bobtail pup

I was perusing the classifieds the other day and ran across some apbt pups for sale. They were posted as Colby X Sorrells. I went and looked at them. About half the litter has bob-tails with varying length. Has anyone seen this or know anything about it?

 

Mum probably did that.

 

Mum? Both parents were on site. Neither had bobtails.

 

When they were born, sometimes the dam will chew a pup's tail off. It just happens sometimes.

 

I have seen it with a few dogs offsprings.

 

@ ohpitbulls where the dam chews it off, or when they are born that way? These pups look like they were born that way. One has a kink tail too.

 

A few pups from her 2 litters was born with no tail like she was its in there genes

 

Recently had a litter with one that had a bob tail, first time seeing it.
