    Hey,
Just wanted to give a little update on some good food out there. My roommate and I have just switched our pups from the Diamond Puppy food to the Rachel Ray dog food and we are very pleased with the results. My boy is 10months now and doc said its OK to feed him regualar dog food. Since the switch I've seen good healthy shits and his coat looks amazing. It seems to have similar ingredients as the Diamond food but it's a little CHEAPER and easier on my pocket book. No, it won't compare to the Taste of the WIld I was feeding him but it is a good substitue for the Diamond food. Wish I could afford more TOTW. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know. Maybe you all can test it out and see how your pups perform.

P.S. Rachel is pictured on the front of the bag with her APBT. I think she made the food to make sure her Pitty was getting the correct nutrients.

I'm glad you had good results. It's a subpar food but I'm feeding Diamond Naturals myself, I understand how life makes it hard to buy the best food sometimes.

PS: That's a pet bull not an APBT.

She probably has nothing to do with the contents of the food just the brand image / sponsorship deal.

I think you are probably right. I have actually just checked the dog food review and it seems i was misled by the first few ingredients starting with meats. This is apparently not the dog food I thought it was, but like I said, I have had good results. Not sure if I will stick with it now. Don't want my BigBoi packin on the pounds. I'll probably switch back to the Diamond.

What does everyone recommend for Adult Diamond food? And is my 10month old boy ready for adult food? Vet says yes but I kinda want to keep him on puppy food til 1.5yrs.

    Suggestions?

If you wanna stick with diamond, i'd go with the Diamond Naturals line. and yeah, he's fine to eat adult food now, but it won't hurt him if you keep him on a puppy formula either. just keep an eye on his weight and should be fine

What ElJayBee said. We're pretty happy with Diamond Naturals. Not as good as when we did raw but that's obvious. DN is a good product for the cost.
