For the people who say my collars made out of Seatbelt(polytester) stretch and the ones they make out of Nylon don't need to check the Mill Specifications on their webbing and quit making stuff up that isn't true about mine and theirs !!

Seat belts are an obvious example of webbings used in auto safety but there are myriad other uses. Nylon and polyester webbing are used a great deal in auto racing safety for a large variety of items. Racing harnesses restraining the driver have used nylon webbing for years, but since the death of Dale Earnhardt Polyester webbing is becoming more popular due to its increased strength, and lower rate of elongation under load.

Nylon loses approximately 12% of its strength when wet and has a propensity to absorb water. Polyester restraints show better performance under these same conditions.
    Chemical and Ultraviolet Resistance

Nylon and Polyester belts seem to show inverse results when tested to chemical resistance. The Platinum Series belts show better performance over time when exposed to sunlight. The relationship between strength over time is improved.

Less Elongation During A Crash Event

7% to 9% for the Polyester vs. 13% to 17% with Standard Nylon Belts. All of our testing indicates that earlier loading on the belts positions the driver better for the impact and helps reduce the forces that lead to increased neck tension or whipping.

    Better Durability

Provides good resistance to chemicals, moisture and sunlight degradation. Over time, all belts diminish in strength when exposed to the elements. Polyester restraints offer better performance when exposed to racing conditions such as sunlight, moisture (sweat) and abrasion. The performance over time is greatly improved.

Every Single Aspect of Seatbelt (Polyester) webbing is better than Nylon.

People need to do their homework and don't spew BS about stuff they don't know !!!!

ANY Supplier of nylon collars who wishes to disagree with this, I challenge them to send their collars along with mine to an independant third party testing firm, and have elongation and tensile strength of each Suppliers tested !!!

  2. You cant get any fairer than that people

I'm not trying to start shit, just want people to know I have reasons for the materials I use, and if I thought for a minute that my materials were less strong or less durable then another suppliers material, I would either discontinue that product, improve my quality of materials, or lower price to match less durable materials.

I use SUPERIOR materials and charge a lower price !!!

This isn't my opinion, this is FACT !!!!

Anyone who disagree can talk all they want and say this and that, but I WILL put my money where my mouth is and back it up.

I will have my collar assemblies sent to an indepentant testing firm of choice of person who doubts me and have my collar assembly compared to theirs in both tensile strength and elongation !!

A lot of suppliers been in it for a minute and know it all !! I been in it for life and I am still learning, BUT I know what I know and I'm willing to back it up with $$$ and not talk !!

Nylon does not stretch or shrink, polyester does. This is a fact. Just google does nylon stretch and google does polyester stretch. You can do the research yourself. . Stillwater makes a great product for a great price but facts are facts. I never said anything that wasn't true.
