I will say it like this. TG is a dogman and has some good research behind him but I would take an old uneducated man like Bert Clouse over TG keeps any day. With a keep it takes common sense, a decent idea of how to work a dog and your hard work, keeps are over rated. You want the key to a keep, keep records! Record weight, food amount, excercise program, and when they poop - pee and keep them on a strict schedule. It takes common sense and crap load of walking. Do your fancy keeps with fancy RF1 and crap like that and I will feed a good kibble, make good records and whip you everytime. First having a good one is the key then the rest is hard work and common sense. Check Bert Clouse's record and then take TG record and then lets talk. Real keeps come real doggers not breeders, not California Jack or any new age junk. Experience helps also but don't over complicate a situation that is nothing more than hardwork and keeping a diary of 60 days plus any good GD should be able to go an hour right off the yard in the first place.

Well you guys I just purchased a double bred Chinaman that come down from a good son of disco dogs and they are excellent her grand sire is Rachel ruffrider

 

I agree if some wants a keep why just try the Fat Bill keep?a real keep from a real dogman,pitmen and show man!

 

New to the game currently only owning three dogs looking for what people think is the best pre keep and keeps looking for both keeps with steroids and without to see which one works best for me personally please help a young man out

 

The best keep IMO is to Conditon yourself for a fight the best way you know how or can read about and the FIGHT... Take GOOD notes of what you did the first time around and then change what u think can be improved upon... Do it all again and FIGHT, take GOOD notes, ETC. until u can fight at a champion level.... THEN APPLY IT ALL TO THE MOST BASIC KEEP YOU CAN BUY.....
