yep, and if you're too worried bout parasites, you can always freeze the kill for a couple weeks and should be fine. de-worm regularly, keep up-to-date on vaccines and have fun!

Here in the RURAL midwest where I live coon & coyote hunting are very popular. I have been working (hunting) with my dogs for almost 21 years and have never had a dog get anything bad yet from either a coon or coyote. But with that being said I also never hunt with an unvaccinated dog and I worm with Ivomec EVERY month all year long so I feel if you keep your dogs healthy and wormed / vacc. you should be fine. Also remember to pay attention to your prey you are hunting- I almost had my male try to take a coyote last season but realized when it was close enough that it had mange really bad and possible rabies so I held him off on that encounter. Have fun with your dogs but hunt smart and be carefull.
    YIS, stamp4
