you know i've always heard a good dog is where you find them but i just wondered if any one knew the blood line that generaly has it all or the line that they know of that percentage wise has "it" more than others??

 

I really don't make to many comments on these things, but I remember some years ago asking the same question and after several years of study, working with hounds, the answer was simple -- whatever YOU like... What I like about bulldogs, you may not like or what you like, I may not. There are a lot of lines that are producing quality bulldogs for whatever sport you're into, me personally, i'm a big eli fan but not just the maverick/skull stuff, the bullyson stuff, the rascal stuff, the chinaman stuff, the jeep stuff, etc... Now there may be others that have no idea how these lines are tied and may call me crazy for even calling them eli dogs, but check their pedigrees is all I can say. Bottom line -- go with what makes YOU feel good when you go out back, scoop up some food, and pour it into a feed bowl.... simple.

i'm also an eli fan and i'm also a fan of mims and bolio and it aint nothing i like better than all of those crossed up...i've seen bulldogs when this happens

 

That about sums it up. I like them Eli dogs more so Jeep dogs heavy on the Weirdo blood. It really all comes down to what you like as long as it's a dog one it does'nt really matter.

Jeep is not a Eli dog!!...it's a cross!...Colby/Eli....just cause a dog has Eli in it doesn't mean it's a Eli dog!...although ur post has merit you can't justify that jeep is a Eli dog nomatter how u put it!!

 

You guys better wake up and see what's going on in south america, japan, south east asia and eastern russia. Buck dogs. Mayday. Variations of those crossed over the "other bloodlines" boyles jeep redboy. But nothing beats the novelty of survivor lines like mayfield maloney andersons carr crabb hollands. But you can't go without the talent of dogs in south america

the only reason you hear about that is {A]for the most part its legal there and {B]that is mainly what they have there.any and all lines are getting it done right in your back yard but due to laws you will most likely never hear about most of it.
don't buy into that hype that this country or that country has the best dogs because the USA doesn't compete anymore its bullshit!we just cant advertise the way they can...

 

No no no. Look at the reports and shows. Lol those are AMERICAN GAMEDOGS. American the key word. Our dogs here are going down there or over there. If your not down there or sending it then YOUR THE ONE SITTING IN HIS BACK YARD LOL just like anything in this world its becomeing or is already global. Gamedogs is global. And no back yarder has any right in those shows. Just stick with the adba shows and weight pulling and hog hunting. And be happy we can do that with these dogs. If not then move or ship that precious dog over seas or south before he or she heat stroke's and/or rott lol
