My house pet..

I learned a lot through out the last 2 years, I gotta say I learned most of everything I know about dogs from this site. I was away for a while and well I hope I can come back and learn from you guys about how to keep my dogs in shape and how to keep them healthy.

I know I picked up a few enemies prior and I hope we can leave it in the past. I love the dogs and that's why I am here for. The knowledge his site has cannot be found in any book.

Anynow, I am not sure if this post will last or If I am going to get destroyed but I thought i'd share what I learned from this site.

I got a Bully and I followed the trend of thinking fatter is better, after reading many articles and understanding canine structure and anatomy I reallized the harm I was doing to the animal. Now I enver intended for this dog to be an exceptional athelte or an athletic dog. Just a companion and possibly compete in weight pulling or OB.

Good lookin dog man. My Pitty has bully bloodlines also but he has yet to resemble one. I try my hardest to keep him in good shape. Keep up the good work.

 

I saw you post a classic quote, I spit coffee all over myself reading it. You referred to yards full of gamedogs, "Gamedog petting zoo's!" I thought it was funny

Yeah it's stillwater collar that barely fits lol none of the regulars do I have about 4 or 5 but Shane was kind enough to make me two custom big dog ones, one in leather and one in seat belt. I also have a collar from bulldog supply company and it fits perfectly.

 

Man I said a lot of stuff, I just need to keep my mouth and learn from those that know more than me. I have different ideals but I leave that out and try to learn as much as I can.

I agree, although I can honesty tell you that some
Dogs are constructed with a much differed torso structure and it is really hard to get a tuck like a apbt in great condition. My dog is 78 pounds i can see light spine and ribs but his tuck is no where near some of the dogs here. If I feed less his hip bones would pop out. I an hoping when it starts to get cooler again I can start working him properly.

I am agreeing...your dog looks healthy and happy. Glad you are back.. I always like others that get on here and talk. This is my home. Tried fb, but that is way too crazy for me.

 

Also glad to hear you got an awesome collar, from what I concider to be one of the best sources out there!

 

Thanks man and Shane is extremely realiable and I love his collars. I have put them through all seasons and hell and after a good wash they look brand new. The only part that sucks is that they are too small for my dog so I only use two of the many I got. I saw he has some nice new designs I might be getting another one lol
