what attracted you towards that breed? You found all these forums, all the information and still went that direction?

As inexperienced as I am, especially when it comes to AmBully conformation, he just doesn't look that "well-bred" in my opinion.
Not saying he isn't an adorable dog that would make a great pet or anything, just not what I would call "quality" I suppose.
I'm no expert (obviously) and I don't mean offense or anything, but even if the AmBully were my "cup of tea" I personally wouldn't have payed for a pup of such quality, unless it was from a rescue or shelter of course.

Again, not trying to offend, my dog isn't what I'd call "well-bred" either, but to me he's ideal, and irreplacable.

Looks more Amstaff than Ambully to me, put in the time and effort and you will end up with a great mate.

I think your pup is very handsome. I'm new to this forum and still a little confused about why blues are unpopular...I myslef have a little blue bitch. Why don't people on here like blues?

Because this is a GAME DOG forum and those "BLUES" are not GAME DOGS. To each, his own. If that's what floats your boat then sail on. Most on here don't have a problem with the hippos, but the owners who try to pass them of as Game Bred APBT. Those Blue dogs are AM Bullys or Staffs and niether is game. Hope this helps.

so your sayin no other dog apart from the apbt has been bred game and theres no such thing as game staffs???

There is no such thing as "no such thing". It is possible to find a game staff, just not altogether probable. There are likely a few "game" blue dogs somewhere on Earth, but again not altogether probable. And whats more, IF it were to be legal tomorrow, I just cannot see any self respecting dogman rolling one against a true Bulldog.
I admire many breeds. I don't mind the looks of a nice AmStaff or American Bulldog or even a proportioned Ambully. Just for heavens sake don't refer to them as APBTs or GameBred Bulldogs. They aren't and never will be. Most owners don't know Dog Aggressive from Game. THERE LIES THE PROBLEM.

So there isnt "blue" APBT's? I'm so lost lol. please dont get frustrated with me ... I would appreciate if someone could explain the difference, and what makes the difference between a game dog and a *blue dog* Thanks.

There are blue pitbulls. It just happens every now and then. They are not pitbulls but "blue dogs" when the breeding has as a target to produce blue color dogs. If the breeding aims towards character with the right characteristics for a pit, then they have the potential to be pits.

The thing is this... Trye to find one blue game pit that hasent got amstaff or bully blood in it. You wont find it.
The blue colour is From other dog breeds.

Bullys are nothing more than mixbreeds bandogs if you will.
The blue colour in amstaff are also from a different breed.
Bullies are not produced by pitbulls bredd to amstaffs thats bullshit.

ok im trying to wrap my head around this lol. K basically a pure bred APBT wont be *blue or grey* it would be considered a flaw?. And if a "Pitbull" that is lean and not built like a bully is mosty likley still mixed with a bully to have a blue coat?....I'm I starting to get it now?
