Poland's Dogs

    Does anybody know of anything about Poland's dogs? I just pick up a little guy the other day with some in his ped.

    I don't know anything about the dogs in Poland but a while back Madziar Kennels of Poland posted some fine looking animals. Use the search function and check out his dogs.

    they are based out of nc. basically some old cotton's bullet/molly bee blood. my dog i have and had contained that blood. works good when with eli, redboy,buck,etc

    based off edwards stoney....a do nothing...non-producer...he was bred to all the best bitches Mr. Edwards had and he never produced the first bulldog...not the first...the percentages of game dogs from these lines is extremely low...one of the most popular lines out there was when jump around was crossed with a mims bitch...lead to an over-hyped and lied about dog named grunt....dog is not as advertised....but he ended up with a world class peddler who both bred and hung papers off him to no end...
    what you will get is freak mouthed dogs...these dogs are rough and can just about bite shit in half....the mouth on this line is beyond extrordinary....although the grunt dog is not all he is made to be, his littermate sister sabotage is 100% bulldog...amazing that the mims bitch on the bottom carried the bullet/stoney stuff on top as far as it has....the best ones from these lines were bred back to the mims redboy/hardtack/carolina flo blood....adding more of the bullet stuff...well, just do not pack a big lunch...you will not be staying very long....

    grunt is a piece of shit and his career is fake. my dogs are of course crossed withs mims. but i got older that nigerino bolio cotton's bullet each bred her to meverick cotton's bullet out of redboy/jeep male. mouthy/game

    My dogs dam has Poland's "Lethal Weapon Rev"x Bridge's "Sugar Bear"=Poland's Repo
    Mim's "Fay" x Poland's "Repo" = Winstead's "Cisco Kid"
    Poland's "Cassie" x "Winstead's " Cisco Kid" = Poland's "Low Train"-"Cassie is off of "Jump Around". Jump around is in on the bottom 3 times.
    Chinaman 5 times
    Frisco 4 times
    El Negro second generation
    This is all Dam with a Maverick breeding up top.

    the percentages say you have failed....an extremely low percentage coming from the stoney blood...and that includes the jump around stuff also....

    but..i am not the say all/end all on this particular line of dogs...crossing these dogs may click and the pedigree may say 'low percentages' but it actually be a high caliber dog...happens all the time...just saying that particular line had just about played out for one reason or another and then the grunt/sabotage litter came about...if all the hype had been based on sabotage instead of grunt it would have carried more weight, as she was everything bulldog...what happened was the opposite..grunt was a rough dog who showed bad signs and was given away...showed those signs again....but in between those bad signs he could flat shut it down....after the second showing he was sold for some serious $$$$....within three months of showing his second time he was a GrCh....then he was bred out the ying yang...the same camp bred mayday dogs...a guy down the road from here has a grunt to a grunt daughter (daughter out of a bitch that died when she was six months old, but her papers lived on) that looks like mayday spit him out....so the blood gained popularity....
    so i am not saying there are no sucesses with this line of dogs...just saying it started off with hardly anything to work with and was amplified by someone who was interested in selling a lot of dogs...a lethal combination to any line...but best of luck with your dog...i also believe the dogs should be graded individually rather than as a lot (line,litter,etc..etc..) US1

    mim's trixie is in the Dam's ped which goes back to Carolina"Flo". Alot of this stuff goes back to Bolio/Tombstone.Garner's & Payne's" Ch Scooter Red" off of Payne's Ch Scooter Red goes 4 xw goes back to Bolio/Tombstone top and bottom

    All in all...Slim summed it right up for ya lol! I've had hands on with Poland's stuff for some years now an have drawn jus about the same conclusion. As with many lines they are hit or miss. I've been pleased with em for the most part but understand exactly what Slim means. Most ppl with stuff down from Poland's jump around stuff look to cross into mims blood as it is a proven cross. I've done my research with the 1's I've owned an have drawn my own...Im sure you will do the same in due time. Good luck with your new addition...would happen to have a ped we could get a peek @ :D

    by no means is it a 100% fact they all do not work out...the stoney/jump around percentages are very low....just from personal experience...if i had that stuff and thought it was worth feeding i would breed back toward the cross and not toward the stoney stuff....in the jump around mims crosses i would breed back toward the mims blood....but that is just me...best of luck with what you have and grade them individually and all will be well...US1

    Why even bother basing your yard around low percentage animals. A friend of mine told me if he got one or 2 good ones out of a litter then he was pleased. I'm sorry but those numbers just aren't good enough for me. There are dogs and families out there with far better percentages you can go with. I also believe that if a family isn't up to snuff on it's own without any crosses then don't even waist your time. At the end of the day crap still smells like crap. Unfortunately my friend put years into this one particular line with not much success only to start venturing else where near the end of his career. It's your time and money though.

    Don't have peds online but the Sires name is Williams' Hank(9158) and Dam is Smitty's Nugget(8589) and registered with Sporting Dog Registry.
