iphone4 or the htc evo help??!!!!

my old iphone3G just went out two days ago and im trying to figure out which should i chose. I've been to apple, at&t, been surfing the net and plan on going to sprint tommorw. just wanna know what yall think about each. any help would be appreciated thanks.

I personally would go with HTC EVO ... The Iphone doesn't support flash the HTC does .. Some other things I like the bigger screen, expandable memory, nice browsing exp, it also has an 8 MP camera with flash where as the iphone has a 5 MP without flash. Both are good phones but IMO the EVO wins hands down you can customize more without any limitations. With APPLE your going to pay for EVERYTHING and customization is not available without jail braking - which will void your warrenty lol ...

i have the HTC Incredible and it still punks out my friends IPhone 4. all todays 4G is is just overpriced 3G. dont pay for something that you're not gonna be able to take full advantage of.

The iPhone does have 5 mp with flash!!....the IPhone does support flash u just have to down load a app!!..the iPhone does everything man!!...I have my iPhone jailbreak so I can do anything I want wit this bad boy!!...everybody has their opinion but u can't go wrong wit it!!...Evo is aight, not like da iPhone!!...I'm iPhone till I die!!..lol..and when u jailbreak u get all the apps for free!!...if it was me I would go with the iPhone!!..all u have to do is google the pro's and the cons and u will see wat I'm saying!!...I hardly never use my CPU!!...the best thing about it is I have been on all type of sites and don't get a virus!!....I stay on porn sites and haven't got one yet!...lol...(excuse me ladies)

I have a macbook pro and an Ipad .. I love apple products but they are limited without jail breaking which will void your warranty apple will screw you when they release updates to the phone and then you will be stuck with an I-Brick or have to wait until the hacker's come up with a way for you to update to the newest software updates LOL .... I had an I-phone and sold it.. I am a blackberry Chick personally I am not a fan of touch screens I love having buttons to push when I am texting hehehehe

 

Believe it or not Sadie but those hackers stay on point and everytime apple comes out with something to stop them within a week they have counter apple!!..lol....these guys who started the jailbreak shit are the truth!!..im telling you!!

 

No I know the Dev team keeps up on it.. But my whole point is apple's Iphone is proprietary you shouldn't have to go through all that to be able to customize but apple want's control over everything and they make a lot of money off the app store ect. Now with android which is what run's on the Htc's it's much more customizable you don't have to worry about the jail breaking and what not. Just too much of a hassle the I-phone really pushed the competition to step up their game no doubt! But IMO there are better phones out there. It's all in preference though you will always have your die hard Apple Fans ... I just buy what I like when it comes to computer's I would only own a mac LOL

 

there is flash available for the iphone actually, its just new and shitty still (given i checked that out a few months ago, i never kept up with it) and you can jailbreak it, and restore it and it wont be void. the issue currently is if you jailbroke your phone and your phone completely broke to the point where you could no longer restore it however, youd be fucked.

like someone else said, the 4 is and expensive version of the 3rd, just with a flash and better camera, and battery life.

There is an APP it's called skyfire it will support some flash but not all. Where as other phones they have full supported flash. There is a reason why apple is not working with adobe to support full flash for the Ipad and the Iphone $$$$$$$

 

I am a big fan of my Droid X. the problems that my friends have had with their iphones I haven't seen at all with my phone. I luv everything about it except for one thing: the camera. That's the ONLY thing that the iphone has trumped on it. Everything else is way better tho, IMO.

The Droid X takes fantastic outdoor pics and nice HD video. But once you're inside, the camera is really kinda crappy. it just doesn't do well in low-light situations. and i'm not sure why. vid isn't too bad inside tho. anyone else have this problem?

 

Unless there is a jail bird app I don't know about but that sky fire will only half ass support flash on the I phone

 

Yeah, they do want u to spend alot of money that's the very reason I use the jail break!!..If anybody has a IPhone download tom-tom maps!!..Omg!!...I will never ever get lost with that app!!...I can be in japan, the middle of nowhere and it will guide u where ever u need to go!!..one of my favorite apps!!

 

I didn't realize the I phone 4 added a camera with a flash! Finally .. I think the 3gs didn't have the camera with a flash .. The new ipod nano doesn't even play video! They took the video off. Sometimes I have to wonder what goes through Steve Jobs head!
