Ah I see, for now I'm doing fine on the Evo and Orijen but then again I only have a few dogs to feed, not a yard. However, I definitely agree with you that Purina is one of the better mainstream brand name feeds. I'd feed Purina over pedigree, Science Diet, Eukanuba, and Iams anyday due to the higher quality ingredients.

I feed Diamond adult premium in the green and yellow bag... been feeding it for years and havent had any dogs get sick or nothing, Ive read that its caused kidney problems and so forth but my dogs do good on it... I've also fed Ol Roy hi energy in the brown bag when money was tight dogs did ok but wouldnt recommend it long term as it makes yard work a mess... diamond hi energy wouldnt be a bad choice its about 22 or 23 $ for a 50lb bag around these parts so for the money thats how i would go... but then again you know what they say about opinions...

That I can, and the dog in the avatar looks great but I think I'll stick with my orijen and evo. The two fed in rotation seems to work well for me, and when the store runs out of those, wellness core works well too. Though when I take in a few of my friends' dogs when they are out of town, vacation, etc. I'll opt for Purina instead of exceed for maintenance then. It sounds like everyone that feeds purina likes it and has had good results.

Ive been having good success with using the

diamond naturals chicken & rice 26% protien for summer blend
    &
    For winter blend
Diamond naturals extreme athlete 32%protien 25% fat

I dont have to up the feed more during winter cuz the winter blend adds weight fast n will get and stay fat! The dogs look even better during winter..
