    brief history on porkchop:

the late Joe Avila of San Diego, California with his U.K.C. registered Pit Bull (APBT) named Pork Chop. Pork Chop was open to fight any dog and defeated all of them. Pork Chop was 105-110 pounds chain weight, and 85 pounds Pit Weight. Pork Chop was a bone crusher who defeated 50, 60, and 90 pound Pit Bulls as well as other breeds including Akitas, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Bull-Mastiffs etc..Most of his fights ended in 20-25 minutes with one going 45 minutes and his longest match ending in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Pork Chop never failed to scratch. 2 German Shepherd dogs attacked Pork Chop, Pork Chop Killed one and was killing the other dog when the owner of the dogs intervened to stop the fight. A match was in the making between Pork Chop and Larry McCaw's Sporting Dog Journal Grand Champion Ace Going Light Barney but the fight never happened.

Whoever wrote this has a very wild imagination..lol

  9. Tito is an amazing dog. He also won a match w/ a well known tosa. The tosa didnt make it. Tito was shaking the tosa so hard that the impact of his head hitting the wall is what killed him.

tito was big enough to dispatch the tosa..........if he was 35 lbs i dont think it would be achievable. 55-60lbs conditioned weight is the optimal strength/weight ratio for a GAME dog to challenge in mix breed match. JMO.

  12. Yeah he is a Limey dog. Well regardless of his size he still dispatched of a much larger dog with ease. If he was 35 lbs. I dont think his owner would have hooked him up w/ the tosa. And as you can see he is a pretty large bulldog, so I am a bit confused at your post.

he didn't translate kg. into lbs I think that is where he gets 35lbs.

porhchop was around in the 70's........was a junkyard dog that was matched to anything that was available and his rep got him noticed but he was not hooked up with barney.

Thats where the story stops. He didnt leave a line so I cant help you there......but gooden' are where you find them ;)
