Excellent book. Some little details that make it quite realistic even though it is a fictional story set a long time ago.

Great book, I will read it several times more. Very realistic and not the typical happy ending that is so annoying sometimes. Plummer was a true dog-man and has written many books for us dog-men. I have read several of them and I like them all.

The book Trog is interresten and so is the "Tales from the Rat Hunter" and the "Artisan Hunter"..... good terrier stuff and funny. Lots of good tid-bits to pick up along the read. I have read several of his books, like them all.
