Some people get intelligence mixed up with ability (natural). My redboy dogs have high ability and would make you think they are intelligent, but they actually have no sense. Cross'em out in that instance.

 

yeah i'm w/spending time with your animals...have a scatterbred bitch thats just a great dog because she's never been on a chain or away from the family and my mayday/frisco male isn't even close to her cause unfortunately he's a yard dog. wife won't let him inside...really should have thought that one through. getting married that is...lol

 

yea ive raised every pup ive had in the house ( i havent had 1/4 of the dogs as some of the ppl here) then put them on chains around the yr mark and that seems to make a difference... just the bond and the constant talking to the dog or something seems to give them an edge in "common" sense over a dog that has been an a puppy pen then on the chain with little contact

 

Owned rbj,rb dogs and Chinman dogs mainly. Both very smart in "most" ways but would have to pick chinaman dogs over all that " i"ve experienced.

You seem to have the opposite of most.

 

once they become members of mensa then i say there intelligent. if you can't get in the front door, you'd probably use the back door. maybe window if you wanted it bad enough? pass on sure maybe skip a generation or throw back a few generation. can't put labels on whole bloodline's especially if you ain't seen the foundation dogs.

 

Virgil dogs are very smart.

 

I don't have experience with anything but Carver and Beaudreaux, a few other crosses here and there but Carver dogs are fairly intelligent especially if you spend quality time with them. Mine are anyways.
Beaudreaux.... not so much "smart", more like the Redboys.....

 

Agreed...that being said the one I got off of jethro is one of the most intelligent animals I've ever been around, it's damn right scary lol. I was told they were smart, but never planned on having to be smarter than him lol.

 

Bolio, Boyles Family, Frisco have had the smarts from what I've seen, not just dogs I've owned but ones I've been around.

It will piss people off but whatever, I'm far from an expert in any bloodline but if ones a retard, I'd bet it was a Jeep dog. Stupid game has been said many times

my rbj dog rambo is actually pretty smart... but deffinitly not the smartest, i havent been in the game for very long but for intelligence them boudreax and bolio dogs have stood out as pretty brilliant... and to me intelligence is being able to take orders as well as think and tweak said orders and think on there own
