Pit owners near Fayetteville, NC

I am looking for other APBT owners who would like to get together with our dogs and do everything from socializing to sports and training.

could be, but there are indeed legitimate folk out there that enjoy meetups with these dogs to spend time together in a completely legal fashion.
for instance-i know several that work with each other on weight pull training before their dogs ever see the rails in competition ( various breeds)
as with everything- using common sense ( which is not so common) and discretion are your best bets.

 

Im not sure what you mean by bait, but I have bean looking for pit bull clubs and the closest ones are 2.5 to 3 hours away. My pup is 5 months old and I am just looking for other pits to socialize him with. I also would like to train him to weight pull when he is older and will be joining a schutzhund club in a few months. I believe getting him around other working dogs will only help. Most APBT enthusiasts like to get together and portray a positive image of the breed too.

 

I use to live around there, I see where you are coming from, the appalachian club are some good folk, palmetto too, up the road you got tristate etc, good shows in NC, hard to win like at texas, go to them youll meet good folks, see what they are workin with and how they are doin it, good luck, I think Garner lives up around you by Hillsboro, you are in a good area for doggin tho, its piggy around there and down in SC too
