Termite

Can someone whos familiar with this blood tell what crosses good wit this? I have a very well bred male and would like to breed him to sumthing thats gonna give me a mid to high percentage... What do you think?

the hammonds blood works well with the termite stuss.

 

redboy/jocko jeep/rascal with a touch of tombstone/bolio... proven cross!

 

Tonka and other families anchored on the Tombstone/Red Baby breedings work well but the most proven and successful "cross" is to the Hardcore family of dogs. This cross has done extremely well on the East Coast for over a decade now.

The Bolio/Tombstone stuff crosses very well with it. As well as the Crenshaw stuff. But i've also seen some excellent animals when it was crossed to another strain of Yellowjohn/Jocko stuff through Voyle & Gross' (Soggy Bottom) Little John ROM.

 

Whats the dog ped i know you said termite bloodline but can we see what a well bred dog looks like on paper

Yeah that Lil Mama dog is bred nice. Wouldn't mind putting some of my Redboy/Carver dogs with that termite blood.

A lot of people don't know anything about this blood. I hear a lot of guys that swear by Redboy/Jocko or an Eli dog. These dogs are as good if not better than most of the animals you can find. You just have to get from the right people. Good luck trying to get them to sell you one though.

 

forget breeding bloodlines. take your hound to the best produceing dog you can find.one that show it can produce to damn neer anything bred to.

 

That is right in some instances. But you do have to remember that some bloodlines work better with each other even when everything is equal from an individual animal standpoint.

 

congoman if i dont breed the first 4 generations or see them being bred/whelped. to me what the peds say dont mean that much. thats why i say breed dogs not pappers. besides just becuase somthing worked for other folks dont mean it will work on your yard. so when you take a dog to a known producer you at least have a chance of getting something you can work with. as aposed to breeding bloodline and hopeing for sucsess other folks had.

I'm not going against you dude. But when someone else makes a good breeding you can take a few ideas from it. Do whatever fits your yard man.
