dog v hedgehog

help needed

 

my dog went rambo on a hedgehog at few nights ago and got the prickles or spines what ever you call them all round her nose took her to the vet they pulled them out rubed round her nose with cleaning alcohol and said she'l be fine in a few days but tbh im not satistfied they never gave me or told me to buy anything to clean it and should i use detol to keep it clean...... plz advise guys thanks :dogkiss:

 

i would de flea the dog as hedgehogs are normally riddled with them

 

I wouldnt worry about it my terriers grab them all the time and feck all has happened to them

I wouldn't let him have his go with a hedgehog...
spent hours in the neighours yard running after their dog with a hedgehog in his mouth lol... well, I actually spend quite some time removing the spines too...

the dog was screaming it's head of, chewing that thing up at 3 in the morning.. the owners "didn't hear it" :rolleyes:

 

No Drama,my Springer picks em up all the time and plays ball.I soon stop this though as Redbill said your dog will get covered with fleas.Its when they roll in dead hogs uve gotta worry!They stink and get covered in pig-fat which is a bitch to wash of.

its a great big pig that hides in the hedgerow smoking crack and jumps out and trys to eat your dog!

sorry i couldnt resist it.its a small spiny mammal that curls into a ball when scared.bit smaller than a football.
