Freeman Blood

I have been looking for information on freeman dogs. they usually have texas in front of their names. I have a lot of Freeman names on my dog ped. I have read some of the older posts on here but was wonderin if anyone had more info on his dogs?

 

Post some of your peds. and maybe some one will recognise some of the dogs.

 

Only ones I know of are a maybe 1/4 of that blood...they are good workers I think in tight form a lot of them tend to be very skittish...

it was succesful in the weightpull events way back, usually large black dogs 50lb and up.ed reid in the uk got one |(texas minnie) and she is behind some of the most succesful dogs the uk ever saw.

any pics of your boys dog? Thats a lot of freeman blood. Any clue where those freeman dogs are out of?

 

As Sunbeam says, Freeman's (Reid's) Texas Minnie was Grand dam of CH.Scotsman's Max but she was also the dam of Scar Kennels CH.Sheena Black who produced the very game SK & Junkyard's Sid when she got bred to CH,Elmo...

CH.Sheena Black also produced Northern Lad's Nailer (1xw) and Scar Kennels Black Max (2xw 1xD) when she got bred to Scar Kennels CH.Klogger...

Black Max was a real good dog who produced B's CH.Max, H's Eugene and Redeye's Molly Black... Sid was bred to Molly Black to produce Gypsy (1xw 1xlg)

Gypsy got bred to a game son of Eugene called Zak to produce the Xara (2xw) bitch who also produced some good dogs... CH.Scotsman's Max, Sid, Eugene and Molly Black were the blood behind Xara...The Freeman blood ran through them all

 

black max and sid had that look of those freeman/menottis dogs, big strong black powerful animals

 

I have to ask she is rip for awhile now. i've search for another dog bred similar came up empty.

I wish i could find someone here in New England that has dogs with freeman blood in them. I had my boy flown to me from Kansas.

Some really good friend's of mine had some Really good dogs down off of Scar.

 

I was told the blood came from a fella named Andrew Freeman outta Texas. Here's another great dog that carried 1/4 Freeman blood. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=20786 His sire Timex was a 2xw and was 1/2 Freeman blood. I was also told Freeman's Preacher Boy was a highly sought after stud dog back in the 80's

 

My boy has a lot of freeman 6 generations back. Freemans preacher boy is there a few times. Been lookin for a picture of Freemans Preacher Boy for awhile........cant find one anywhere.

 

Preacher boy was a BIG 105 lb.animal blk.with wht. markings.
