    Visk's dogs animal planet? Seriously?

A PCR test is the most acccurate.

And you do not need yogurt or any probiotic. Some people choose to but it is not needed after antibiotics. It is a choice not a need.

Ivomec dosage: 200 µg/kg, PO or SC, 2 treatments 2 wk apart

The easiest and safest is to just use Selamectin (Revolution) dosed at 6 mg/kg twice at a 1-mo interval

For sarcoptic use lime sulpher dip. And give 0.10 of a cc of ivomec per 10 pounds once a week until cleared up. This means for a 50 pound dog give .5 or 1/2 cc of ivomec. You can also get some nu-stock for hair loss and help healing any sores.
