Any blood is only as good as the person behind it. Depends on what you are looking for...as with most everything else these dogs are not one size fits all.

 

what makes you want this breed they shit all-over the place they tear stuff up and every-where you go they want to ban them and if you take them any-where they will try to kill your friends pets.The people on this site that no or sort-of no(my-self included in the sort of no )about these dogs for the most part have been spoiled by them to the point where no-other dog will do but if you've never had one you should think long and hard because basically what every-one here is getting at is the shit you'll get on this forum is nothing like what you will get when you bring one of these dogs home and your neighbors find out

and then go buy a real dog... go to the bloodlines section in the forums...

Listen to american dog man and try to pick one with the best qualities you are looking for

 

forget the bloodline find you the best proven bitch that made rank. take her to the best producer you can find. pay stud fee & build your yard around the best offspring you get. but two or three good bitches will really give you a good shot at getting bulldogs. forget starting with pups because that's a waste of time & money. when you start with dogs of rank then you know exactly what your working with.

Research, research, research..... look around, visit yards, find what YOU like not just a pretty ped or what someone says is a pretty ped. You are the one feeding that dog, and if you aren't happy then you wasted your $$..

Decide WHAT you are going to do with the dog... show, weight pull, dock diving, therapy, CGC, hunting... whatever, then talk to the people that have been doing successfully for years!
