Do you feed different on your rest days? More or less or do you keep it the same?

or maybe I should say I feed a half cup more on work days. Its cause my feeding schedule. it falls before the sun goes down while its too hot to work so after the sun goes down and it cools off we work then i allow her to cool down (and her body to burn fat) then feed a half cup to fill her stomach after the work out. (y'all know how y'all be hungry after a hard session)

from start to finish the dog should be 1/2-1 lbs under weight . on the last week you feed them up to weight .

Nice setup Gundu. But did you have success with that setup on other dogs?
It's not everything that clicks every dog, or did you find that setup to be versatile?

deadgam33 i don't think so . the closer you are to weight the more the dog can eat . you take a fat dog and work him hard and see how hard it is for him .

if you work for 8 weeks then you can be 3-5 lbs over . but when you get down to 6 weeks he should be under by 1/2-1 lbs after the workout . you will feed him more but he will be in better shape . you weigh the food everyday so you know what you fed . and he will drink and eat and he will be heavy . but after the workout he should be 1/2 - 1 lbs under so you can feed him good . the last week he will rest most of the time .the last 3 days he should be 1 lbs over before you feed him . he will loose 3/4 - 1 lbs just resting . last feed he should be 3/4 lbs over . then he will be on weight .
